Our journey

Our journey began nine years ago. We started as a design studio, which is what we essentially are – even today. From producing high quality brochures, product catalogues and annual reports, we moved on to developing our specialist skills in addition to our design and graphics capability: excellent writing and editorial capabilities.

Corporate house journals then came to be automatically associated with our name. Excellent production values, clean lines and good taste in design, flawless copy and punctilious proof reading became our trade-marks.

Kalamkriya in short became synonymous with quality house journals and newsletters. Ashok Leyland, Dragoco India Ltd., Hydraulics Ltd., GEC Alsthom India Ltd., Ponds India Ltd., and the Sanmar group of companies are among our satisfied clients in this regard.

But then we have to move with the times. To our strong editorial and creative team, we added technology and sophistication in line with the rapid changes sweeping the world in the IT and Internet age. And increasingly, our clientele were looking to new methods of communication.

The next stage of our journey had logically to do with creating multimedia CD-ROMs and websites. Meticulous attention to detail, pleasing visuals that do not impede rapid access of text or graphics, but still make optimum use of the power of the electronic media, and our well-known copywriting capabilities have stood us in good stead in these new areas of our work. Now we are poised for growth in this challenging new field, having successfully completed a few projects.
